The Ron Abuelo Añejo distillery is founded on one specialty rum ingredient; locally grown sugarcane from their fertile land in the center of the Republic of Panamá. This specific bottle being the youngest in their line of fine rum packs a wallop of strong flavors that comprise the undertones of their more aged selections.
The aroma of this young Añejo comes through as sweet, hinting at the vanilla and caramel layering. Upon first taste, the cinnamon and sugarcane bursts through the palate, as does the complex connotation of white oak in which the aging casks are constructed.
