This project arose from the writing needs of engineers and scientists. It began when I was asked to help address the quality of writing in an engineering department at Golder Associates. I had the privilege to work with 9000 consultants all around the world -- we used to say that you were usually closer to a Golder office than the nearest embassy!!In short, this book and the accompanying videos encapsulate the wisdom and knowledge of the most senior people, added to lessons from my experience in scientific textbook publishing. It is crowd-sourced, because many people willingly shared all their best knowledge, gained over decades.
